Aluminum Mounting for Large Images

For dramatic presentations we offer our larger images mounted on aluminum plate, ready-to-hang with a wood backframe that sets the image out three inches from the wall. Aluminum-mounted 48x32 prints are $1700 ($1900 for Signature of the Sun: Burble). Aluminum mounting may require up to 6-8 weeks for delivery depending on the schedule of our supplier.

 

Chromatic Monuments "Minis"

Minis are small photographic prints of some of a limited set of my nature photography with simple form and bold color. Many of my nature images, including, Kali Climber, Alabama Hills Sunset, Twin Tufa, and Mesa at Sunrise are available in this size. (Images from "Signatures of the Sun" are not available at this size.) Prints are 4x6 in a 11x14 portait-orientation archival mat, and are $75. Prices are in US Dollars. California residents please add 8.25% state sales tax. For print orders we can accept money orders, personal checks, and most major credit cards.

Shipping not included, but will be charged at actual cost of shipping and materials. We use Federal Express (Air or Ground) for all prints. Precise image dimensions may vary. Additional sizes, custom framing options such as acrylic, etc., are available, please contact us for details.

 

The Nitty Gritty about Limited Editions

California law requires us to have a written policy on our use of the term "limited edition". (We're glad about that, people use the term quite differently, and this leads to a lot of confusion.)

Except where noted otherwise, all prints are limited edition, signed and numbered by the artist, and limited to an edition of some number of prints, typically 50 or 200. Images from Signatures of the Sun are limited to 21, a few unusual prints are limited to smaller editions.. Only that many signed and numbered fine art prints will be made of any image. This means there will be (at most) 21 "Burble" prints, not 21 16x11s plus 21 24x16s plus 21 48x32s....

This total does not include other uses of the image such as note cards, posters or magazine publications, nor does it include "work prints." Work prints are draft prints I make of an image and do not sell, but may use in portfolio presentations.
