Pro Panel Rental (Art Fair Booth Equipment)

Doing an art fair in the San Francisco Bay Area? We can provide many of the pieces you need to create an effective, 10'x10' professional booth, including a set of Pro Panel booth walls and accessories, tent, card table and low chair. Call for specific details and availability, you are responsible for pick-up and delivery of the materials to my location in San Jose. Each of the nine panels are individually about 7' high and a bit under 40" wide, and are carpeted on both sides in a charcoal grey. The diagram at right shows a booth constructed with seven of the nine panels.

Pro Panel rental: $125/weekend. (Includes tent, chair, folding table.)

Photographing Artwork -- Slides of your art

Quality slides (and/or digital images) of your artwork are key to any professional presentation of your work to contests, art consultants and galleries. I will work with you to create images of your art you can be proud of, at a reasonable price.

High-quality digital images: each artwork $12. This price includes a CD-ROM of your images, as well as spotting, color correction and brightness adjustment. Significant additional Photoshop work is available at an additional cost. Results usually available 2-3 days after shooting, often more quickly.

Slides: each artwork $15. This price includes film processing and three exposures (neutral, lighter, darker) of each artwork. Slide turnaround time can be as much as 7 days depending on lab turnaround.

A minimum charge of $50 applies to all sessions. Rush service may be available for some services.

These prices do not include travel and are for images taken at my studio. House calls are available at an additional price, call for details.

These prices increase effective July 1. Increases primarily reflect an over 100% increase in the cost of slide film, a signficant increase in the price of slide film processing, and the relocation of my processing lab, incresaing my transportation costs. These prices also reflect the purchase of additional equipment for digital imaging which can produce even higher resolution digital files from these originals, possibly suitable for giclees and such.

The biggest change will be slides--slides will now be charged at $20/artwork from $15, that service provides one slide each three different exposures of each artwork (lighter, medium, darker), with a guarantee you'll be happy with at least one of those three exposures. Additional "in-camera duplicates" are $4/additional set of three. Digital images of artwork will be raised to $13 from $12. Finally, the minimum charge will be raised to $60.

Digital Imaging

We can assist in a wide variety of digital manipulation and printing issues. From creating show postcards and inkjet prints (using outside printing services), to single-page printed 'slide sheets' of your work, to removing Aunt Martha from your family photograph, we have the tools and knowledge necessary to make your project a success..

Digital Imaging Work: $50/hour or $300/8-hour day.

Prices do not include outside printing expenses (e.g., Modern Postcard for 4-color postcard printing). We are happy to work with you in selecting print vendors.
