Mono Lake: The Forgotten Season - January 16-18, 2015

This photography seminar will be based in Lee Vining and will explore locations along the lake to photograph the serenity and beauty that is the Mono Basin in winter. Specific locations will depend a lot on the weather and conditions, which vary widely from year to year, but will focus on the incredible landscape opportunities around Mono Lake, the gem of the Eastern Sierra.

Quick Take: Introduction to Developing Photographs with Lightroom - Feb 22, 2015, 5:30-8:30pm

Curious about Lightroom, or have it but feel a little lost on how to get started bringing images to life?  This quick class will show you much of what can be done with Lightroom's image development, and at the same time, provide some tips for how to methodically approach using Lightroom's vast numbers of controls, so that you can get from a raw capture to a finished image quickly and efficiently. No previous experience required, this may be a great way to help learn if "Lightroom is right for you", as well as helping beginning Lightroom users understand how to work with Ligthroom's Develop module more effectively. Photographing your Artwork - March 22, 2015 (tentative)

Frustrated with attempts to photograph your paintings and drawings for gallery submissions, contests, web sites, or gicless? Join me for a workshop demystifying the challenges of photographing your 2D artwork in this step-by-step introduction with a focus on good color and avoiding unsightly surface reflections.

Basic rates are $75/hour with a two-hour minimum, $240/4 hours, $360/8 hours, and do not include travel or expenses.
