Workshops, Seminars, and 1-on-1 Learning

Point Reyes National Seashore - August 18, 2012

Separated geologically from most of California by the San Andreas fault, Pt Reyes offers a delightful combination of beaches, rocky coastline, flora, a mountain, a lighthouse, ranches and (often) elk, providing a wonderful range of photographic opportunities.  We'll meet at the Point and spend a day working these many locations with a
strategic eye kept to ever-shifting weather conditions common at thePoint. This workshop is given through PhotoCentral, but you can register here as well.

Introduction to Macro Photography - September 8, 2012

Learn to explore the world of the small with your camera! We’ll discuss tools, techniques and gear for creating inspiring images of the miniature world, including a short excursion to put some of these ideas into practice. This workshop is given through PhotoCentral, registration is not yet open.

Tidepools and Trails - December 15, 2012

The upper peninsula of San Mateo county contains a number of little-known gems-beautiful coastlines, lighthouses and forests. We’ll sample a number of these locations before capping off the day with a several-hour stop at one of the best tidepooling locations in the bay area, during one of the lowest tides of the year. This workshop is given through PhotoCentral, but you can register here as well.
