Digital Landscape intensive: San Mateo County Coast -- May 22-23, 2010

Join nationally-recognized professional nature photographer Joe Decker on
this two-day photographic workshop. Saturday we'll meet at a location
along the San Mateo County coast around noon, photographing all
afternoon and through sunset at a variety of locations, with
opportunities to photograph lighthouses, waves, shorelines, birds, and
redwood forest. Sunday afternoon we'll meet again (at Accent Arts) to
review your work from the previous day--this immediate feedback will
cover every aspect of those images from subject selection, composition
and exposure to digital processing of your images, giving you new
ideas and inspiration for taking your photography to the next level.
Be prepared for interesting weather--remember that bad weather makes
great photographs! To sign up for this class, please send an application to Accent Arts, instructions and application here.
I was in this class with Joe, and as I write, 10 days later, I am still buzzing from the experience. I can hardly describe how wonderful it was to go out with a group of serious students, shoot on a variety of locations and then meet the next day to review our photos. Joe has a unique ability to tune in to what his students want from the class and provide appropriate guidance. I will be learning from this for quite some time.. --Rob M.
