A really splendid palette of colors from Mono Lake's Western shore.
I do try and shoot a little bit during workshop field sessions, and this image was taken from the 2015 Mono Lake Winter Photography workshop I led this January. Photographically engaging with the conditions lets me provide better guidance for students, moreover, when the light is good, folks are usually focused far more on making photographs than asking questions.
